For the first time since their 10-year-old son Caleb was killed last August in a tragic accident on a ride at a Schlitterbahn water park, Scott and Michelle Schwab spoke out publicly about that day. Their interview was carried on ABC’s Good Morning America.
Scott, a Republican state representative from Johnson County, said he and Michelle decided to speak out to express their gratitude for the support they have received from so many quarters.
“We have a box of greeting cards from around the world,” said Scott, “and we just want people to know we’re grateful, and yeah, we’re still hurting, but we’re going to be okay” he said.
