Central Bank joins a growing list of companies offering bonuses to employees as a result of federal tax reform. The company, which operates as Central Bank of the Midwest in Kansas and Central Bank of St. Louis in Missouri, is rewarding its 2,500 employees in four states with bonuses. The company also employs people in Illinois and Oklahoma.

Central Bank joins a growing list of companies offering bonuses to employees as a result of federal tax reform.

Company officials credited comprehensive tax reform for their decision to grant $1,000 bonuses to full-time employees and $500 bonuses to part-time employees.

“The economic development that should ensue as a direct result of the new tax reform legislation will positively affect the more than 66 communities we serve,” said Bryan Cook, Chairman and CEO of Central Bancompany. “We are excited for the opportunity to reward our dedicated and hard-working employees with this special bonus as a token of our gratitude for all that they do for our customers, businesses, and communities.”

While a growing number of U.S. companies like Central Bank are offering bonuses, others have announced they will give raises, increase their own minimum wages, and invest in growth thanks to federal tax reform.
